Quality Engineering (QE) is a ten-week employer-driven skills-building course that prepares students to understand, analyze and enhance the quality of technological products and services. Students use leading open source technologies and Agile and Scrum Methodologies to automate product testing and to assure the delivered value of web and mobile applications.
From day one, students use planning tools and business cases to understand process maturity and software life cycles; break down product and business problems using computational thinking; use case and sequence diagrams to understand and describe how technology systems work together; and leverage mind mapping tools to plan, organize and effectively present project details.
By the end of the course students can easily integrate their knowledge into a collaborative working environment with peer programmers and business professionals. The QE course is held at the our Bronx Training Center.
