CYBERSECURITY: SOC ANALYST
CLASSES BEGIN OCTOBER 22nd
Whether you’re building a new Security Operations Center (SOC), or improving upon an existing one, the ability to analyze and interpret monitoring software is essential to its continued success.
Students will expand their certified understanding of Networking and Security fundamentals, delving into Next Generation Intrusion Prevention Systems (NGIPS) and Network Security Monitoring (NSM). Our class will cover Splunk and Splunk Enterprise to analyze network and application activity; assessing the severity, progress and target of the cybersecurity attack. Once identified, you will log and implement preventative steps to protect systems from becoming compromised by the same or similar attacks.
Our 7-week program will introduce additional cutting-edge, Enterprise-level software and applications that prepare you for a dynamic and rewarding career across industries.
Additionally, our full-time, immersive program exposes you to the following concepts and technologies: Encryption, Risk Analysis/Management, Defensible Network Architecture and Monitoring Principles, Endpoint Protection, On-Premise/Hybrid/Cloud Deployment concerns and more!

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Candidates: Ideal candidates will be organized, agile individuals with a solid foundation in both Networking and Security, as demonstrated by having at least one (1) certification of the Networking or Security sets of certifications:
Networking: CompTIA, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto
Security: CompTIA, GIAC, ISACA, EC-Council
Professional experience should include one (1) or more years of technical engineering experience, in lieu of certifications, in any of the following areas:
Computer Information Systems
Internet Service Provider (ISP)
