Before miners and analysts create charts and visuals to explain information, Big Data Scientists and Engineers manage and refine the data they review. These scientists and engineers handle large sets of raw data and are the masters of the matrix.
In this course, you will learn the basics of Big Data and Hadoop technologies through hands-on classroom activities, case studies and more. You will learn how to extract, scrub and manipulate real-time and warehouse data using Python, PySpark, MongoDB, noSQL and MariaDB, properly define a problem and design tests that yield valid solutions, and prepare large sets of data for effective and efficient use by analysts.
Our full immersive program will expose you to the following technologies: Java, MariaDB, Shell Scripting, SDLC and Coding Practices, Data Modeling and Warehousing, Hadoop, ETL, Talend, Map Reduce, Data Transfer (Sqoop), and Hive

Duration: 12 week intensive
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Must have at least a bachelor’s degree
Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (presently or in the future)
Must be willing to relocate for post-training employment opportunities
Ideal candidates will be organized, agile individuals interested in business processes, client management, software testing automation, and technology applications and systems. To be successful, candidates need to posses computational thinking and self-teaching skills, do well in fast-paced environments and be able to learn new technologies quickly.
Professional, academic and/or hands on experience should include one or more years of experience with:
Object Oriented Programming languages (Java, C#, Python, R, SQL and/or Oracle)
Familiarity with the following technologies is also preferred:
Linux command line instructions (beginner level at minimum)
SQL Query construction
Spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets, Numbers) + Dynamic Tables and Data Formulas
Data warehousing, Apache Spark, HDFS
