As technologies are ever evolving and constantly changing employer needs, job candidates are required to logically problem-solve to stay current with market demand. Candidates will learn how to use computational thinking (Abstraction, Analysis, and Automation) to form a solid
understanding around Core Java, C#, or Python and the languages' Object Oriented Programming foundations. This project-based program will help candidates reason and navigate through coding complexities using tools, including Eclipse IDE, to understand the language’s fundamentals, application and utility.
Successful graduates will come out with a background that will prepare them to easily advance with C#, Java or Python programming and quickly adapt and apply their language skills towards beginner or intermediate-level projects

Location: 804 E. 138th St, Floor 2, Bronx, NY 10454
Duration: 6-week intensive (210 hours)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Outcomes: Hands-on experience
Cost: Tuition and materials are offered at no cost.
Hardware: Students must provide their own laptops for use in the program. Laptops must meet the minimum requirements listed below*. If you are unable to meet the hardware requirements, loaner devices may be provided per availability.
Minimum Laptop Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 8 or Higher | Mac OS X Mountain Lion or Higher
- Processor: Dual Core 2.5GHz or Quad Core 1.6 GHz
- Memory: 6GB RAM (8GB Preferred)
- Storage: 240GB Hard Drive (Solid State Drive Preferred)
Candidates: Ideal candidates will have an interest in jumpstarting their career in coding and proficient knowledge about computer basics (software and hardware) . Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (presently or in the future) and be able to travel to the Bronx, NY for training.
Professional experience should include one or more years of business and/or tech experience and familiarity with the following technologies:
Android/iOS operating systems
Spreadsheets (Excel, Sheets, Numbers)
Word processing (Word)
Mail and Agenda (Outlook, Gmail, Office 365)
Presentations (PPT, Keynote)
Web conferencing (WebEx/Hangouts/Skype/GoToMeeting)
