Course Overview

Quality Engineering (QE) is a 12-week, employer-driven skills-building course that prepares students to understand, analyze and enhance the quality of technological products and services. Students use leading open source technologies and learn multiple software development methodologies including Agile based Scrum Methodologies to automate product testing and to assure the delivered value of applications.

Students use planning tools and business cases to understand process maturity and software life cycles; break down product and business problems using computational thinking; use case and sequence diagrams to understand and describe how technology systems work together; and leverage mind mapping tools to plan, organize and effectively present project details.

By the end of the course students can easily integrate their knowledge into a collaborative working environment with peer programmers and business professionals. The QE course may be held at either of our Dallas or Irving Training Centers.
